Contradicts what Jimmy Hyams is saying

Tennessee will soon announce the hiring of Purdue coach Jeff Brohm after going 6-6 this year. Brohm was 30-10 at Western Kentucky. Buyout is $5 million, drops to $4 million Dec 5. Still owes Purdue about $750k for leaving WKY.

No idea who that is though

I mean, what else is he going to tell a recruit while he's still Purdue's head coach?

He may end up staying at Purdue, but this is a non-story, IMO.

Tennessee has a 39 year old VFL that is currently the offensive coordinator for a blue blood program that is in the top 10 right now. He is arguably the best recruiter in the country and players LOVE him. He is begging for the job.

Meanwhile, John Currie is out here trying to hire some nut with CTE that looks like he got slapped with a frying pan full of hot grease that can't recruit and will leave the moment Louisville comes after him.

GOD DAMNIT

Rumor on the street is Jeff Brohm just turned down us and we extended an offer of 12M/Year 5 years guarantee to Nick Saban.

Word is the Haralson County High (GA) coach will be fired after his team finished 2-8. He might consider the Vols.

This is what coaching searches are all about. Not everyone has the stomach for this kind of action.

I could give this credibility but he's out the of the Bobby Petrino mold.

"Louisville is where I want to be" ... takes morning flight to Auburn to interview.

But seriously, with a lunatic like Clay Travis running your program these days, what coach did you expect would want to come there?

We all know that this is according to a recruit he was visiting, right?

I always assumed he was waiting at Purdue for the Cards job to open back up. My family is all in Louisville and they all follow Purdue closely because the whole city loves this guy.

Figured he would just hang out at Purdue till Louisville comes open. Though no clue how long Bobby ends up staying this time around.
