You know it is possible to be good at more than one sport correct?

Yes, and the money that the school loses being good at a sport that few care about could have gone to football.

The LSU baseball program has historically made more of a profit (or less deficit) than the Alabama baseball program. So maybe Bama should just get rid of all other sports entirely is what your saying? Your thinking is off, but whatever lol.

LSU loses money on baseball, and, yes, I would eliminate all other sports except basketball and put the money saved into football. That would be the wise business model.

I know last year didn’t go great, but you can’t be in the CWS every year.

We literally were like one or two runs away from going back to the CWS. I guess as LSU fans we are spoiled but damn glad JJ is at LSU and know he has his dream job.

We’ve posted this before but the #s speak for themselves. Bama once had football but now nothing. LSU is managed to win national championships in many sports. That’s why they are the KING

LSU - 53 nattys
Bama - 28

Well for one they do not lose money every year in baseball, although last year they did. Secondly so does Bama. Only difference is Bama sucks and LSU doesn’t. Again, you’re not understanding and I don’t feel like explaining it to you. So whatever lol. Bama loses more money than LSU does in baseball.

I don't know how much he's paid, but his success means his salary does not go to football. I wish all of Bama's rivals could have great success in things like baseball.

$1.675 million. Your coach makes $900k. The difference is a drop in the bucket when it come to expenditures for football.

Your basketball coach makes $2.2 million more than ours. Wanna trade?

What's crazy is 2 short weeks ago some of the lunatics on the Tiger Rant were calling for his head after the Little Rock loss. Some of our fans are idiots

To be fair, if LSU lost to Little Rock, Jay was probably going to have to completely flip over his coaching staff. You can't go out against arguably the worst team in the tournament resume wise unable to throw strikes over the plate. He would have been fine but he would have cleaned house

It isn't just head coach salary. LSU puts more into baseball than Bama, enough to get a 5 star QB or some players that will make the football team better. If you're ok with winning in baseball and the money it loses that could go to football, great, I wish you great success in baseball.

LSU's baseball program incurred a significant loss of $1.9 million during the 2024 fiscal year according to NOLA.com and The Daily Advertiser.

Except it’s not true at all and you have no idea what you are talking about. We put more money into it but also get more money out of it. Our net is better than Bama’s net. So again, you don’t even know what you’re saying.
