Against 2 of the worst passing defenses in all of college football. Kansas State #121 of 128 and Oklahoma State #95 of 128. The one good pass defense he faced, Oklahoma #33, he lost throwing 2 INTs.
That was two years ago and as a true freshman. How did Hurts do against elite Pass Defenses ?

Auburn's savior has arrived

We don't need one for LSU
Sean White went 19/26 for 234 yards against LSU.
And y'all just lost 2 DBs to the 1st round
Yeah, y'all are fricked

I hope you know that we will still have probably the best DBs in the conference next year pal. Toliver replaces Tredavious White and either Stevens, who is a 5 star, or Delpit, who is a 4 star, will replace Adams at the safety position. Everytime we lose a player to the draft we recruit 8 more. And congratulations.... you found a way to beat a Les Miles offense that steamrolled you the year before

He is a good QB but the difference between Stidham being successful or average will come down to AU's OL. We basically have a lot of talent and depth at OL but it's all inside OG type guys. We don't really have true OTs. The success will come down to OT in pass protection "if" Gus truly gives up the reigns.

Not a concern just a Heisman campaign builder. Stidham is Steve Young. I mean look at his number he is wearing at Auburn.
What!!!
Drop Mic!

Did he steal anything at Baylor?
Nope?
Not worried

I'm just having some fun with it. All you can do is hope the results are as good as the hype.

Good luck to y'all and the young man

(I still love the Nick Marshall meme about stealing the BCS trophy though)

He went 14-1 as a true freshman and was the SEC offensive player of the year! Accounted for 36 TDs!

That's not what he asked. How were Hurts passing numbers against elite passing defenses?

Doubt it

I know exactly what was asked. I simply gave Stidham's stats in the 3 full games in which he played. Also to allow some of these fans to pump their brakes a little bit before crowning the kid your Messiah!! He played in 3 full games, going 2-1 against less than stellar competition. He also spent the first 7-8 games getting the chance to watch and learn with no pressure of playing.
For comparison sake since the guy asked. Hurts was more or less thrown into the fire and responded pretty damn well. He faced 5 defenses ranked higher in pass defense than what Oklahoma was ranked. #2,14,15,22,& 23. OU was 33 in 2015 against the pass. Hurts would go 4-1 against those teams with the lone loss in the Final. He did struggle but still managed to put his team in a position to win. That is what a QB must do!!!

And what were his passing numbers against those teams? Thats a lot of typing just to dance around a question

Go back to the OP. This isn't a comparison contest between Hurts and Stidham. I simply stated that people might want to pump the brakes on a kid that has all of 3 starts under his belt and hasn't seen live contact since '15. Y'all did that shite to JJ and we all know how well that turned out!!
#2 UF 11-20 138yds 1TD W
