Hopefully he can get Shell to visit AU, if so we could enter the mix with him
As a fan of recruiting, I doubt Shell gives Auburn a serious look. He may visit, but I doubt they'll be a major player.
It helps having his cousin, but it's not like it's his brother. I know I'm not close to all my cousins..

I agree, I'm just saying there's a possible outside chance if we could get him on campus. We still have a better shot at Jovon, Keith Marshall, and Brian Kimbrow

way to get excited about a kid that may or may not ever set foot on campus. How about that new college professor that got a raise. Did you hear and brag about that?
I am tired of fans (from all schools on here) placing this much emphasis on these high school kids.
It is freakin pitiful.

Point being idiot 40 y/o men pumping up some 18 y/o that MAYBE is not worth a shite in college is stupid and shows how stupid people who do this are.
You never dealt with kids when this is going on or never worked with inner city kids in Houston like I did.
2 played college basketball. One at Tulane and one at UT. It was sickening to watch and what happened to these otherwise good kids that became corrupted by this process.

Recruiting has become huge, people are really starting to follow it because these kids are the future of the program. If you don't want to follow it, then don't. No reason to be an elitist arse

JaQuay is black, and you know to black people everyone is a "brother", so if he calls him a cousin then they aren't really close at all...

What does Yeldon think about this?
I coulda swore they used the "only back in the class" pitch...

Do you think that an education is why you play college sports or it is a training program?

Why do you have to be such a downer? If you don't like recruiting talk, then don't read about recruits. There are plenty of threads here that don't discuss recruiting, so maybe try reading them. Keep recruiting out of sight and out if mind, and you will be much happier.

GTFO.. We'll get excited about whomever we want. If you don't like it, RA the thread. Till then wipe the sand out of your vag

They didn't use that pitch. They used the pitch "You're the first back we want and our #1 back". They've made it clear to all of the RB recruits that they may bring in two. TJ isn't concerned because even if he's splitting carries, he'll still get a good amount of touches catching passes out of the backfield or in the slot.
Btw, if we get Kimbrow, he'll be an Onterio McCalebb type back, not a primary back like Yeldon. So that won't be a concern if that's the case

No, i hear its gonna be his former team mate Sequashto McPherson who commits. Been in a michigan juco or county penal team system. No lie, serious. 6'10" 360lb defensive monster, under the radar. Scottish mother/ serenghetti father- has serenghetti speed, african endurance and scottish tolerance. Blue eyes too. Freak of nature!

for the elite (which we are getting right now) it is just a training program. for the ones who just take up space on the team, it gives them an opportunity to earn a degree. ultimately though, almost every football player in the SEC is here to go to the league one day.
