I wonder why nobody makes fun of this? When Richt mentioned punishing someone for not adhering to the "Georgia way" he was ridiculed on here for it being a silly slogan. I guess people just like to pile on when they can.

Trust me, if Muschamp would not have punished Janoris or started to get a reputation of letting kids off easy then it would be thrown in his face.

Remember "the top 1% of 1%"

How did that work out for Urban's reputation?

The same reason they make fun of UGA for arrests. We are the only ones that have off the field issues dude.

I think because, since he's new, he's not only allowed to but expected to establish a new standard. After a few consecutive strong showings in the Fulmer Cup, people cynically believe that is the Georgia way, and that its cheesy for CMR to refer to it as anything else. Not fair, but that's how it is in response to your question.

For example, Urban never could have referred to something good as the "Florida Way", especially after the Chris Rainey fiasco.

Chris has been a model citizen since his fiasco. He should get some credit for getting himself back on the right track IMO.

If he has another misdeed then he would be gone too.

Just got a tad more info. Apparently JJ may not be charged with anything from this incident.

His booting appears to be more about his attitude that he is above team rules and that he should be able to do whatever the hell he wants.

Three arrests combined with me first attitude = gone under CWM it seems. I'm glad for it.

If you think about where Muschamp just came from, I can see why he is taking a hard-line. To me at least, Texas and Florida seemed to almost mirror each other last year. I can't see how being involved with the undisciplined, unmotivated wreck that was Texas last year couldn't have made an impression. I'll miss JJ on the field, but I think CWM made the right call.

Do it up how you do. You're damn good at it. The above is just a general and if you move stuff around that's cool. Thank you sir!

If he is kicking him off the team for attitude...thats fine with me. I thought it was for weed for a minute and that would of been bs.

Weed in public is a no go man. You know this. I think it was for a mixture of both. Word is he thought he was above the team, rules, and the law. He should have just entered the draft if that was his attitude.

He only has 1 year of eligibility left. He will probably head to Ole Miss or the supplemental draft.
