I love this argument. Did anyone's DL improve as well or just your OL?

at first the whole "vandy is good" schtick was cute. It's slowly starting to get played out now.

Just watch the damn Video. My coach says it all. This is the first time he hasnt said "Man we have a long way to go" since he has been at VU. The man knows he has a legit SEC team now
if you watch it start at the 10:30 mark is when he starts answering questions.

You've got to protect your rivalry. They win 10 more straight and you guys are back to square one with your oldest rival. They already have three in a row and five of six.

Don't worry. We are starting a run against LSU this year to even that series up.

I don't feel like I should like DevellionDore...but he makes me laugh.

Two decades of toil. We'll probably forget about this thread, but I would hope you would bump it if you're right.

We will beat AT LEAST 1 of the following UF,UGA,USCe mark my words.
I have it bookmarked, but as sad as it is, I can see one of those potentially happening. Looking at the Vandy schedule, they have Austin Peay before Carolina and an open date before UGA and UF. James Franklin could gameplan enough to sneak up and beat one of those teams if they are not on top of their game that week.

Im sure people have improved on their lines but what makes it a point is that VU has never had an OL/OL that was even close to anyone else in the SEC. That was one of the reasons we could beat the UF or USCe last year was our guys just got out matched up front and couldnt maintain for 4 quarters.

It's not crazy. They almost beat USCe last season.

We almost beat Vandy last year. There's lots of almosts every year.

My point exactly. Given enough time to gameplan James Franklin could beat a team that no one is expecting Vandy to beat. Carolina was nowhere near ready and their season almost ended before it really began.

CJF says in the PC that we played with 2 OT's at 265 and a TE at 215 in the SEC last year. Let that sink in for a minute. Coach Galt is doing work with the weight program

Just saying that it would not be crazy for Vandy to have a really good season next year.

Agreed. I was just countering with they could easily have a mediocre year. #SECProbz

2 OT's at 265 and a TE at 215 and we still won 9 games
CJF has the potential to be a legend
Im almost scared to think what the man will do with a real SEC caliber team(Which he has now)

We took their best shot on the road, in the rain, with a qb with a fractured shoulder and still won. If that's what they want to build on, ok, but you need to beat somebody worth a damn if you want the respect you crave. FYI our O line Corey Robinson 6'8 338, AJ Cann 6'4 316, Cody Waldrop 6'2 315 Ronald Patrick 6'2 314 and Brandon Shell 6'6 321. If you still don't have somebody that can block Clowney I'm not interested in your o line.
