Mississippi state put 44 on that same lsu team. Nice to see you hanging your hat on that. lol

That BAMA team had to beat 11 SEC teams in a row to win the conference, and then dismantled Notre Dame and Ohio State in the Playoffs. Not one, Sisters of the Poor, to pad stats. Never has it been done in the history of college football, junior.

I thought LSU fans nationwide made the proclamation, "Joe Burrow will go down as the greatest QB that ever put on a pair of cleats."

Nice strawman argument.

Okay, he had one great year in college, and then what???

He had one solid season leading the team to a No. 6 final ranking in the AP Poll, then he had the best season ever for a college quarterback.

Next, he went first overall in the draft, became a Pro Bowler, lead one of the worst-run franchises in the NFL to a Super Bowl, becoming a top five quarterback in the league. Along the way, he was re-signed to a $275 million contract. Not too shabby.

Pick the QB you would take in their prime as a starter for a NFL.team you own.

Joe Burrow

OR

Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
Eli Manning
Aaron Rodgers
Brett Favre
Joe Montana
John Elway
Dan Marino
Terry Bradshaw
Johnny Unitas
Ken Stabler
Jim Plunkett

Hell, I'll throw Earl Morrall and Phillip Rivers in there.

Trent Dilfer even won a Super Bowl.

...but 2019.....

I don't think you understand what a strawman is.

I know you don't have a clue what a great QB is...

Here is a hint. Joe Burrow ain't it.

Great argument, really grounded in fact. You seem extremely intelligent.

Why'd you stop selecting Tennessee as your favorite team with these last few alters?

All I see is a list of QB's who will all be in HoF one day.

What are you trying to accomplish?

HOW did I forget Terry Bradshaw on that list? Will edit to add.

Here is Joe Burrow holding up the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Wait, my bad. The Bengals had to Photoshop that for their X account.

Just pointing out that Burrow, "the greatest QB to ever put on a pair of cleats", will not be in the HOF with those other men.

He is Cam Newton in White. He even dresses like Cam.

Oh, except Cam did take one team to the Super Bowl.

Interesting take.

He keeps going the way he is, he'll retire with better numbers than most of those QB's you listed.

Burrow is going to be in the HoF. If you don't agree with that, you're too stupid to live.

I was wondering if he even knew that Marino never won a super bowl.

My bad. Joe Burrow lost a Super Bowl too.

He and Cam are EXACTLY alike.

Burrow won't sniff the HOF. If you believe he will, you're too stupid to live.

It's too early in his career for anyone to know whether he will or will not make the HOF.

He is without question on pace to be a HOFer, but, like all HOF quarterbacks, he will need to stay healthy enough to have a lengthy career.

From CBS just this week:

Current Hall of Fame "lock:" No, but it's trending that way

Health may be the only thing standing in Burrow's way
When healthy, Joe Burrow plays like a future Hall of Famer. Last year, he became the second player to win Comeback Player of the Year a second time after leading the NFL in passing yards and touchdown passes.

Marino is considered the greatest QB to have never won a Super Bowl.

In all honesty, Dan Marino may have been the 2nd best QB to ever play the game. Right behind Unitas.
