Jalen never wanted the pressure of playing QB.

For 2 years we have questioned why Jalen looked so emotionless. Then all of a sudden, you pull him from the championship game, and he has to watch his backup bring us back to the promised land.

His entire persona changed. He was like a different guy out there. He even talked differently. I think Jalen was trying to be somebody he wasn’t. He had a tremendous amount of pressure on him at QB. Especially at Alabama.

Jalen never wanted to be the starting QB. At least he was a model citizen while he was, but I think even that was forced a little.

I think Bama wasted a heck of a talent by not getting a true QB Coach to improve his passing game. Too many Coaches today are too stubborn to admit they need help.

I don’t know how you couldn’t see It. Jalen looked like he had a huge burden lifted off of him when he got pulled. He’s never smiled more in 2 years than he did last night.

Some players have it and some don't. Jalen ATH at QB he would be a better fit for RB or if a coach can develop him

Because he knew that classes on Tuesday would go so well because of his not performing. I guess the kicker can go to class now also.

I don't agree, but I do think he was somewhat relieved to have the pressure off himself last night. If anyone knows how bad he was struggling, it was him. He knows Tua is the better QB, but he's been a hell of a team player through it all. And I say that as the biggest proponent of "Hurts can't pass for shite" over the past two full seasons.

JMO...I played QB from Jr High,High School, to College and I believe Jalen has the same problem I had and that is he is more afraid of F up thus he just will not let the ball go. That isn't going to change for the kid. He is what he is....it's just his nature.

Smiling because he lost his job and not because of winning National Championship, got it.

I agree, he should change positions. And, RB may be the best fit for him.
