I think it’s 1 massive combination of:
1. An early October hamstring issue clearing up
2. Some playcalling changes to play to his strengths
3a. Improvement by Milroe
3b. The O-Line improving
4. Playing a bad defense and a mediocre defense in November
We’ll figure out more against Auburn. We haven’t been in that kind of environment against a good defense since A&M.

I doubt that he is. He plays the most popular position on one of the most popular teams, so his improvement over the season will stand out more.

SMH. It’s incredible how low the QB bar is for many Bama fans after watching Tua, Mac and to a lesser degree Bryce. You just saw good to elite QB play and you’re impressed with Milroe? SMH Milroe is a RB playing QB and he’s looking good because the OL is playing better. Also, the SEC West is shite for another season. LSU and Ole Miss have no defenses. A&M has a bad secondary. In fact, the SEC East is better than the West this season b/c Georgia and Missouri are better than the two top teams in the West. Georgia will make Milroe show what he can do as a QB b/c his athleticism will be negated by their athletic and disciplined defense. Best case scenario is a repeat of the Tua natty and Milroe is pulled for Ty Simpson or we won’t bring Milroe back next season.

Seriously, what would Milroe have to do for you to admit that he's turned out to be a pretty good QB? SECCG and NC game MVP? Is there anything that could possibly change your heart and mind on this?

I'm holding my judgement on if he's "improved". I think he's simply started running more which is what he should've been doing. The coaching staff is game-planning that into the offense now.
However, I think UGA may have the defense to negate his running ability and THEN we'll see how "improved" he is or isn't. I still think he'll struggle if he HAS to pass and can't run.
BUT.....I don't think any team outside of UGA can do it so that's what's great about that situation.

This could prove to be accurate this year as a first year starter. He will Donkey Punch teams in 2024

Milroe would have to lead the team to a win over Georgia. Georgia is a team that Milroe can’t beat with a deep ball and a QB run. Rather, Milroe would have to beat Georgia with getting the ball out quickly, intermediate passes, and utilizing all the great WRs and TEs we have who get playing time.
Why are you satisfied that Milroe isn’t utilizing arguably the best group of WRs and TEs to not even a 1/4th of their potential?

Bc he turned that corner on Sat. 10 different WR's, TE's and RB's caught passes. The TE position had 3 catches for 70 yards and a TD

It’s scary how the Milroe situation is mimicking the Hurts situation. Many of y’all said Hurts was a good QB at Bama b/c of the team’s record. But, Hurts looked like shite once he played a competent defense and Tua, a QB, who could utilize all of the weapons on the field had to come in and save the day. Football ain’t that deep. Bama has better OL and DL than anyone in the SEC West and the SEC West defenses are bad this season.
It’s one thing to be supportive of Milroe but many of you are lying on Milroe. He’s been playing tomato can defenses after Texas.

You don’t know if Milroe will make a leap to be a better QB next season. None of us know that. But, I’m going off of what I’ve seen this season with my eyes and not what the media is saying.

Guess you forgot about Hurts coming in and saving the day in the SECCG with both his arm and his legs vs a really good UGA D.

Sure was and it was done the week prior vs a bad LSU D. He and the OL could not have executed at that level vs the Bammer scout team D in Sept. Sorry but the whole unit has gotten better. Could UGA ruin that ? Sure

That was after Hurts had an entire season to watch the games and be tutored by Enos to get better. Milroe isn’t at that point yet (if he ever will be is an unknown right now).

Y’all are the same Bama fans saying UGA hasn’t seen a defense like ours. Who in the hell does UGA’s offense practice against? I guess UGA’s defense helmed by Schumann and Muschamp can’t compare to ours SMH Being a Bama fan is one thing. Being myopic is another.
