I guess according to Bammers if he didn't do anything we should still kick him off
If he is found innocent, nothing is going to happen to him. That would be ridiculous.

See my post a page abck. Same applies.
And why wouldn't the legal outcome affect his position with the football team? Are you implying if Mills is undoubtedly proven innocent, he should still be punished by the LSU coaching staff?

Only an LSU player getting arrested would be 34 pages into the OP and 2nd at the top of the board

I never said in the thread that he should be kicked off the team

He doesn't have to be found innocent. He doesn't even have to be charged with anything to be kicked off the team. Mathieu was kicked off the team and yet never charged with anything. Derrick Odom was kicked off the team the second he was charged by BRPD for assault.

Examples?

Tyrann Mathieu failed drug tests. That's NCAA rules as well as LSU rules. Show me where being accused of something warrants any type of punishment by the NCAA.

Because Miles has not waited for the legal outcome in some cases in the past

So in other words you don't need a court of law to declare you guilty to get kicked off the team?

I simply asked a personal question. One's actions and words should typically reflect what they believe, right?
yeah, and in a court we all believe people should be considered innocent until proven guilty. (even though that wonderful theory doesnt hold completely true in an actual court) But in the real world, we all know that people arent considered innocent until proven guilty. There are countless examples of public figures who are crucified in the media and in public opinion before they are ever found guilty of anything. You know it, i know it, we all know it. You cant reasonably expect that to change just because an LSU player is on the hot seat now.

Exactly. You can't do it

I'm not sure what you're getting at here. Are you saying Miles should punish him somehow even if he's proven innocent?
and provide another example of someone. Ryan Perilloux comes to mind for me. But that's a blatant example where he even admitted to the fake ID deal.

Again, do you believe people should be considered innocent until proven guilty?
Why go to court when this can more easily be dealt with in the court of public opinion?

I have a lot, but I've been streaky. I was in this thread in the beginning and the last 6 or 7 pages I'd guess. I wasn't in the middle much.

Has he been permanently kicked yet????
No???
Well why are we talking about it?
Its obvious Miles is seeing if his girlfriend or whatever actually comes forward or not.

Mills is not getting any negative press in the news. Just by a few posters on the SECr.
