ESPN

"I value everything that Coach has brought here," Hurts said Wednesday. "I remember back in my days at Alabama, Coach [Nick] Saban, hearing him talk about discipline, commitment, effort, toughness and pride, having these core values that he is trying to instill in the team. In the end, it all worked out for the team.

"You see Coach Nick Sirianni coming in preaching connection, accountability, competition, fundamentals and football IQ, preaching all these things. I know in all those different avenues, all those different values and principles that we're trying to instill here in Philly, no one is above that and everybody has to go to work. So for me, I know rent is due every day. It's always been that way for me ... and when that rent is due, I don't plan on missing no payments."

Jalen is all class and represents Alabama so well. BAMA is about to have three NFL starters at QB this season.

Roll Tide!!!

To me he will always be an Alabama guy who graced his IQ and talents at Oklahoma for a year.

Agreed. He played three years at Alabama and received a degree from UA. He's a BAMA guy that played for Oklahoma a season.

Apparently, Doug Pederson wasn't instilling the core values that have caught Hurt's attention with the new guy. If the HC decides not to throw ballgames vs his arch-rival, I'll go ahead and call it an upgrade.

Frick, not the kind of attitude I want my division rivals QB having.

I obviously don't follow bana players as closely as my team's players but everything I have ever heard, read, and observed around Jalen Hurts just screams class and high character.

I'll never forget the way he handled Tua taking over in 2017, or the way handled all of 2018. He did everything the right way. Not only that, he worked his tail off in 2018 and became a MUCH better QB even though he was behind Tua. He deserves all the praise he gets and I hope he does well moving forward in the NFL.

"Picked." He lost the job and wanted to play. Who can blame him?

Pretty much this board revolves around Alabama.
