Or transfer?

Don't get excited, SEC fans, Kirbs will restricted from SEC teams and Tech, but JE could go to the U, or a Washington school (Wazxou has an amazing quarterback coach..)

There are 2 ways he can win his job back.

1. Fromm can get injured
2. Fromm can have 3 bad series in a tight game

1st chance for scenerio 2 - Florida

3 bad series, especially if one has an INT - and Eason is in

Personally, I don't think that's gonna happen, and I wish Eason the best of luck; either with CMR at the U or anywhere in Washington

Unless Eason robs a store or steals from his teamates Auburn won't want him

I have been a huge Jacob Eason supporter. His freshman season was superior to Matt Stafford's. However, the very second Fromm took the field, the energy shifted. It's as clear as crystal to me. Fromm is the guy.

This. Eason knows it. He'll have a shot to win it back next year.

Excellent point

But the Criminoles would take him, and that would be another loss on the schedule for the Jorts

He gone. Eason has always had that deer in headlights look. Not nearly the warrior Fromm is. Now with Fields on the horizon, this kid needs to go back to Washington and U Dubb.

THis is interesting, coming from a sworn enemy. This is a point of contention among Georgia fans.

You have watched, seen, observed of sound mind, that Fromm is the warrior, and Eason is the gimp?

No troll... serious question....

This. Plus he hasn't been kicked off the team for stealing.

Has he committed violent crimes, possibly against women? If so, Bama will go after him hard.

Eason won the job in the off season, so he might do it in camp again next year if he stays

I doubt he sticks around to be a backup QB

If Fromm has 3 bad series in a tight game, Eason will get a shot

I may be wrong, he might goes 4 or 5 series ; but if he struggles or screws the pooch Kirby will pull him and Jacob gets a shot to win his job back and stay at UGA

But like I said, I don't think it happens

I agree, Fromm is the guy

Eason transfers

I predicted Fromm would start after game 3 at UGA. turned out injury to eason made that sooner rather than later. He reminds me of Aaron Murray.

My thoughts stem from friends of family who had kids who played with Fromm at Houston County HS. They were saying this kid had the "it factor" in spades early and often. Waay before he committed to UGA, so I had him in mind and wanted him to go to Auburn. Not sure that was ever his serious intention however.

Regardless, I watched Eason last year a lot. Was never impressed with his command of the field and his team. Lots of native talent, but not the leader/warrior that Jake from State Fromm is.

To be honest, I dont understand fields commitment to UGA. He will ride the pine for at least one season, possibly more if Fromm wins big and often. Whatever. Kid can follow his heart.

Whole bunch of high draft pick QBs that rode the pine. Just last year #2 overall Mitch Trubisky rode the bench at a less talented UNC program until his last year. Obviously I'm biased, but I think it's a great decision as I see Kirby finding ways to use him with intent beyond simply as a backup. He's got a great skillset that is different than what we have on campus.

Dont disagree. hell Aaron Rogers stayed a backup in the NFL for 3 years.

However, thats an unusual choice for the supposed NO.1 ranked player in America in this class. If eason stays, then its going to be real interesting to see what happens because no way you keep 3x 5 star QBs on the team without one transferring or decommitting. Me personally, I think Eason will be odd man out.
