CFB doubleheaders in Jackson are a great memory for me.

I was in junior high and sold Cokes to get in free, make a little money, and watch the games.

Bama beating the hell out of Ole Miss is my clearest memory from those games.

Bama started playing state in Starkville in 86 I believe.

We didn't visit oxford until 1994 believe it or not.

I remember the double headers well at ole veterans stadium. I believe we did a Bama ole miss and Auburn vs state once waaaay back when.

I think when state or ole miss played usm that was always in Jackson.

When auburn puts uab on their schedule permanently, they should play at the crampton bowl every year.

"In 1981 .....ole miss played arkansas on espn"

Espn didn't do College Football until 1984. They would show tape delayed games on Sunday but no live football until 84.
