The same people who are making fun of Jackie Sherrill for a lawsuit against the NCAA would defend an Ole Miss administration that landed them 15 level one violations and a multi year bowl ban anywhere and think that a case with Rebel Rags is going to bring down the NCAA. No one at MSU even knew this Jackie Sherrill lawsuit still existed until this article came out this week. Your entire internet fan base clutches to that dumbass rebel rags lawsuit like it's a winning lottery ticket. It would be comical if it were not so sad.

Trial began this morning in Madison County. The jury is made up of six men and six women. Of the 12, four are African American and eight are white.
Highlights:
Sherrill is claiming that the NCAA was after him from his days at Pitt and A&M. The investigation at MSU was without merit and was only an attempt to force him from coaching. He was 59 when he retired and could have coached a decade more.
The fact that the NCAA found him not guilty is a strike against the NCAA.
The NCAA is arguing that they are the NCAA and its members are subject to NCAA rules and regulations and pretty much a court has no jurisdiction on them in this manner. Also stating that Sherrill had planned his retirement and that State was beginning to suck and he was being forced out.

Since the remaining case is Sherrill vs the NCAA and Ole Miss fans are mad at the NCAA, shouldn't Ole Miss fans be rooting for Sherrill to win his case?

The terms of the settlement are private, but I'd love to know what the NCAA paid him.
