I didn't know he was involved with MSU until this thread, I think it has a lot to do with the fact that we haven't paid much attention to each others programs.
The most likely answer is that he enjoyed his time at both schools and enjoys being involved with both schools and this game will be fun for him regardless.

I am going to his radio show at the grill tonight I'll just ask him how is that?

Jackie has also written a book about his use of the 12th man kick off team called "No Experience Required." He also attends several A&M club fundraisers to collect scholarship money for local A&M students around the state.

He's going to pull for who he thinks is going to win.
Texas A&M.
Texas A&M.

His canned response is immaterial.
Do you honestly think in a room of MSU fans he'll break your little hearts?
My guess is that even with the added pressure from the audience, Sherrill will give a non-committing response, evincing his allegiance to Texas A&M.

Lord Jackie will without a doubt be ringing a cowbell Saturday. Especially with TR breaking the single season passing TD record. Prepare thy anus.

MSU & A&M should have a ceremony the night before the game to burn Jackie's NCAA file... but you'll need to have the US Forest Service fire fighters on standby in case it gets out of hand.

Besides ... which tenure do you think he would rather remember ... the one where he won 3 conference championships and had a 64% win percentage.
Or the one where he won 0 conference titles and compiled a 49% win percentage.
Or the one where he won 0 conference titles and compiled a 49% win percentage.
