Time for CFB teams to give LSU the middle finger and refuse to play them. Just like Tech. No difference between them - Kiffin is such a PoS
Damn. That’s a tasty melt.

Sometimes it's the unintended consequences that hit the hardest. Some of these local sports stations connected with Kiffin's situation said that as many as 6 LSU players could be cut from the team with a week before kickoff. That speaks volumes about the guy. He's not interested in loyalty to the guys who have sweated it out and paid the price to be there.
These are professionals now.

It’s bigger than getting paid it’s going back on your word, it’s integrity. Hard to ok that for coaches of any teams, I’m not just meaning lsu.

It's odd that so many here just automatically assume coaches and programs are "going back on their word" when no one here has any idea what the players were told or what the players did from their side.
Not jumping you, just an interesting dynamic I see from message board posters.

He was very good at almost getting sacks last season.

What if he gets a sore throat. Does he get another year?

Part of that was because he had to play so many minutes. He should be much better at finishing this season with fresher legs.

Are you? That sucks.
I've got nothing against Pyburn but if he gets cut by the Bucs you think the odds are good he is going to have a long nfl career? Maybe you should take your feelings out of it.

He won’t be playing for Florida though. He told yall to frick off.
Did he? Seems the last admin didn't think he was worth the money he wanted. I'm glad he found it. Good for him.

And regardless, Kiffin has said he tells his players you're being paid like pros, we're going to treat you like pros.
The guys that will get cut to make room for former NFL players will be bottom of the roster guys who most definitely are not being paid like pros. If you don’t have a problem with all the rest of this, you should at least take a little issue with a guy busting his arse all year just to get cut the day before the first game.
And if you think that cutting guys loose during the season and replacing them with new faces can’t upset locker room chemistry I don’t know what to tell you.
There are a lot of guys who will never be great but who are loved by their teammates. Seeing one of them who has busted his arse all spring and summer get kicked off the team simply to open up a roster spot will not be well received by some players.

What if no one gets cut, have you considered that?

Your boy Saban pulled the same act for years. How many Bama players were processed over the years for "medical reasons"? Kiffin learned from the best.

If all these former NFL players make it onto college rosters, what do you think the odds are of no one cutting cut? .001%? Or is it closer to .00001%?

You tell me. This is your entire hypothetical scenario, not mine.

Lots. He processed quite a few players for a number of reasons. And he did it in the off season. Many he made a few phone calls for and found them a good, soft landing spot.
If a guy gets cut from a team this Friday, September 4th how many do you think will end up finding a home and just having a chance to play this season?
