SP made a great point. We didn't take our ball and go home like dozens of other pathetic programs.

This latest release comes directly from @AuburnMBB. This is Steven's program, is the vetting this shite?

Fambly was too worn out witnessing #4 Auburn baseball beat # 3 Gah Teck. Hot Dogs and beer in the cold can put down those with the highest testosterone levels.

Well, the non cut off post says that 18 wins is the most for a first year AU MBB coach. Historically we are a basement program, and Bruce got yall to start spending some money on this sport.

While we could return to the basement (doubtful) you should be giving BRUCE flowers for whipping everyone else into shape. Not looking at Kentucky, Arkie, UF.

I will agree with that.

We were certainly in a rut with Anthony Grant and Avery Johnson.

Does Bruce have any pull in Tuscaloosa regarding getting a new basketball area built? I've been waiting decades for that one.

I mean, you're really talking shite after one of your Big 3 programs lost to South Alabama and got swept by Kentucky?

I don't mean to be rude, but Auburn fans need to get on John Cohen's arse, flood his email, and demand he put a stop to AU's marketing team releasing shite "headlines" like this.

No, no, no. Auburn fans should flood Cohen with emails telling him what a great job he is doing

That's almost as embarrassing as claiming an SEC west title in 2003 when not playing in the SECCG.

Come on man, this is well below Auburn's pride or standards.

They hired football and basketball head coaches with a show cause on their resume. They coached at the same time. They are the most penalized program in NCAA history. Their most famous sound bite is their former Heisman winning QB joking about the NCAA ongoing investigation. Their unofficiaal slogan is “keep it down home cuz.” Their AD is a trans-activist.

You give Auburn entirely too much credit.

We did not lose to South Alabama in women’s basketball. Based on revenue, ratings, and TV exposure it is:

Football

Men’s basketball

Women’s basketball

Hockey

Baseball

Softball

Lacrosse

Gymnastics

Volleyball

Soccer

Tennis

Golf

In the south you can remove hockey and lacrosse, but the other rankings don’t change.

There is no big three. There is football. There is men’s basketball. Then there is the rest. The SEC is the epicenter of college baseball. And it still loses money year in and year out.

Apparently when you start sucking at major college sports long enough, you become a huge baseball school.

This phenomenon needs to be studied.

There certainly seems to be a high correlation.

i dunno, this is the same outfit that came up with this graphic a few years ago:

Wtf is talking about women's basketball? I keep up with men's football, basketball and baseball. Those are the big 3 in terms of popularity.
Alabama has a hockey team?

Women’s basketball is more popular than baseball. Maybe in your park off Wire Road baseball is more popular, but overall revenues and ratings make it clear that women’s basketball > baseball.

Has anyone had the talk with you about Santa Clause yet?
