Funny story on Bama fan relations with the refs.
Last year I was sitting amongst a lot Bama’s finest fans at BDS for the LSU game. When the Moss catch at the pylon happened they were stunned. Then the video replay showed Moss foot go OOB then back in and the crowdwent into a frenzy all hollering “Illegal touching!” So the play goes to replay review so they all comforted each other confident that the play would be reversed. Meanwhile the video operator is showing foot in/out clip on loop it seemed like just in case the refs needed some help making a decision.
Then all hell breaks loose! The call from replay comes back “Confirmed!” And the fans went ballistic. They were hollering at the Refs that Saban would have all of them fired by Monday morning for their obvious incompetence. They hollered so many
profanities at the Refs they ran out of breath...
Man, that was a beautiful sight!

And do you know why the penalties called against Alabama don’t seem to happen at keep points in the game? Because the players don’t let it. They just keep playing. At least the good ones don’t. And they sure don’t use it as an excuse after a 17 point loss where the Qb turned the ball over 3 times.
I don’t know why I didnt expect Georgia Fans to resort to LSU fan type behavior, but when your coach has based his career off of copying other schools, it only makes sense that the fans would too.
