This is what separates Paul from the rest of us. His genius has no equal. No one would have ever thought that Alabama would take a step back when Saban departs. Espn should erect a statue of Finebaum for his unsurpassed intellect, insight and wokeness.

Paul, like the rest of us are waiting on the day Saban walks away.

Finebomb nails it again. Riveting stuff there. His combination of astute observation, impeccable sauces and clairvoyance makes “must see”TV for sure.

Dabo will just take what Saban has done and make it better

So the greatest run in the history of college football (and one of the most dominant runs in sport) will not continue unabated until the end of time?

That should ensure another decade of success.

Coach Saban is just 153 games behind Joe Pa's record of 409 wins.
I'm thinking only about 11 more years will get it for him, and it looks like he can be around to do it!

quote:
“I’m not saying Alabama will go away, but history will show they will not be as dominant as they are right now,” Finebaum said.
Duh. The last 14 years, Bama has been the greatest dynasty in college sports history. Better than Wooden’s UCLA. Better than Gino’s UConn girls basketball. Better than Wilkinson’s and Switzer’s OU.
It will never be approached from a dynastic standpoint.

Papa Joe is beyond Saban's reach in this one.
