Personally, I would love it if Saban stubbed his toe on the bed post every night for eternity, but the NCAA needs Saban. He's the villain.

2007 doesn't really count as that was essentially a fifth season with Mike Shula's players who still had Mike Shula's attitude. 2008 was that first season with a team fully bought into Saban's philosophy and mission statement. So really it's only one national title since Saban truly arrived in Tuscaloosa. And we all know that season was a fluke.
Part of that '07 national championship belongs to Saban anyway as that was a senior-laden team recruited to Baton Rouge by Saban himself.
