Correct me if I’m wrong but he inherited the best recruiting over the past 17 years. Especially on the lines of scrimmage. These were the best athletes he has ever coached in his career, yet he managed to lose to Vandy, UTand OU. Thrown in a should have lost to USCe, but when he gets his own players he will be better?

What about the other positions? You think he will bring better players in than Saban? Lol
Well, he currently has the number 2 recruiting class. Seems he is keeping up the Saban recruiting.

Ryan Day has lost a handful of games his career with nearly all of them being at the hands of Michigan yet no one would say that about him right now. DeBoer has shown very little to suggest he is a coaching prodigy at Alabama

I'll correct you. He inherited a team that lost 29 players to the transfer portal and a qb that is possibly the worst/most inconsistent qb in the Saban era.

At the time Alabama fans, you included said all the players that left sucked and were not worthy. Still though Alabama has more top 100 recruits than any other program maybe besides UGA or OSU. Deboers last school UW probably had a handful of top 100 recruits since the turn of,the century.

That lost to,the eventual national champs cause, the center rolled the ball to him. That’s a far cry from losing to Vandy, UT and a terrible OU team.

Alabama was very close to having some bad losses last season thanks to bad qb play. Saban was a 4th and 31 from not even playing in that game.

Revisionist history. People trying to pretend Saban didn't have to pull off a miracle coaching job with virtually the same group of players to get them where he did last year is kind of hilarious. But DeBoer was supposed to come in and go undefeated with them.

That's debatable at best.

No doubt. He's already said that season took a toll on him.
