Talent-wise I agree, but we're both in the SEC, we will most likely both lose games. To the observer both teams look a lot alike. Amazing defense, good special teams, great running games(although Bama doesn't have great depth and LSU doesn't have a TR), but seem to have mediocre passing attacks. We're both solid, but not unbeatable

I've heard this before. Last year actually.

Nicest way of putting it.

Desperate? The two teams being discussed in this thread finished 3rd and 4th in the SEC West a year ago.
This 'aint last year bro.
But commence living off 2010. You're going to be doing it for the next decade.

Boise is legit and could beat any big OOC team they played, but because they would have loads of time to prepare. Put them in the grind of the SEC and they're middle of the pack

Neither team tries to win games through the air. It's apples and oranges. I know in Arkansas you all think passing stats = wins, but that's really not the case.

boise could have a year to prep for bama and LSU still couldn't beat them.
im sorry beating uga this year and va tech last year isn't impressive.
uga is a bottom feeder as of today in the sec and va tech lost to james madision last year.

2 games into the season....
I'm not ready to say Arkansas is going to do anything after 2 games. You guys are nuts...I don't care if your teams are "Alabama" and "LSU".

I haven't been able to watch loads of ya'll playing this year, although I saw a good bit saturday. Who is the #2 behind TR?

Never said they did, but calling LSU and Bama's passing attacks mediocre is being nice.

I dont think anyone seriously thought bama and LSU were legit nc contenders last year. LSU hasn't been a legit nc team since 07. 08,09,10 we were down and it would have taken some crazy breaks to get us undefeated or one loss. This year not so much and the next few years should be the same this team is primed for a nc run in the next 3 years.

Both teams have done everything they've tried to do through the air to this point...

That was a different Boise team. All that Boise has done in my eyes is beat an UGA team that is basically defenseless and the offense is just pitiful.

even last year boise wasnt that good. a down LSU team would have smashed them.
this year boise doesn't even belong on the same field as LSU,Bama or arky. I really like to know why beating uga makes them so worthy

I mean, thus far Lee hasn't looked amazing, he hasn't looked terrible, he's looked mediocre. He had a lot of drops which hurt his stats against Oregon, but he's done what he has to and hasn't made mistakes. I'd say mediocre describes it pretty well so far
