I'm not sure what the issue is. Does motivational and focus based junk offend you or something? These things are designed for internal team emphasis - no different than countless business team jargon. They're not designed for outward consumption. I don't know if you're up on learning hueristics, pedagogy, the psychology of motivation, sociology, sports science, even the various practical and applied sociology and psychology used in everything from business team building to marketing to professional sports and more but suffice it to say stuff like this is actually effective. How effective depends on the application and lots of other factors.
When it comes to focus and memory it's actually more effective if an idea is presented in a less conventional way because the more novel an idea is when it's presented the more apt it is to stick out in our minds and the less likely we are to forget it. Along the same lines, this is one of the reasons certain commercials can be intentionally annoying or catchy -- those presentations cause us to encode the memory. We forget the annoyance and lodge the idea.

A&M has fired 1 coach across ALL sports since Franchione "resigned" and that was Mike Sherman.
Other schools in Texas have fired 5+ coaches since 2012.
