Google machine say it is around 65 degrees F on average.

We are usually in the mid to upper 60’s on Christmas Day so today was about 15 degrees above average. There are some years when you need jackets and jeans, jogging pants, etc. Then you have days like yesterday and today when we’re wearing shorts and t-shirts.

Blocking high pressure system in the barents sea is blocking the jetstream from pushing arctic air into the south. It is all pacific air, the west coast is getting drenched.

I highly suggest watching the dayweather podcast on youtube.

There is a valid meteorological reason for the weather.
