I think we made 80 in Baton Rouge.

What would you say is normal for BR on Christmas Day?

Sorry I have no reference here.

We are usually in the mid to upper 60’s on Christmas Day so today was about 15 degrees above average. There are some years when you need jackets and jeans, jogging pants, etc. Then you have days like yesterday and today when we’re wearing shorts and t-shirts.

Blocking high pressure system in the barents sea is blocking the jetstream from pushing arctic air into the south. It is all pacific air, the west coast is getting drenched.

I highly suggest watching the dayweather podcast on youtube.

There is a valid meteorological reason for the weather.

I get the back and forth between people who like colder temps and people who like warmer temps for other reasons.

But the fact still remains when it’s this warm this time of year it doesn’t feel like Christmas in my mind.
Now make it what you want and spend time with loved ones and have a great time but it feels more like an Easter gathering in the damn Spring than Christmas.

And living in Central Texas, wintertime is my time to shine, I love cooler temps and sweaters and all that shite.

I sleep better, I think better in cool temps.

That Norwegian blood ain’t no joke.

80 degrees on Christmas, got rid of both NFL teams to make Mizzou the state’s pro team, and the basketball program turned into a dumpster fire as a sacrifice to growing the football program. We might be SEC after all.
