It will take UK years to get the stain of Calipari out of the program.

He destroyed the culture and soul of that program in all areas.

Should have been fired about 6 years ago.

Then Arkansas gets conned into hiring outdated ego maniac.

Calipari is a malignant narcissist.

I think UK has moved on already. Fans are very happy with Pope so far. I get the recent struggles, but injuries are the big issue causing that, and there isn't much you can do with it. We are playing with house money this year, and he has already over achieved with the roster he put together in short notice.

Recruiting is great so far, and I fully expect him to get the right pieces in the portal.

Big things are coming for UK. This year is what it's going to be, but that is okay given the circumstances. Every UK fan I know is excited for the future.

I don't know why...but to me, I almost equate the transition from Calipari to Pope as one like the transition from Sutton to Pitino. I've never liked Calipari...to me, he seemed like his main "coaching style" was to out recruit people, then just roll the ball out on the court and hope that the talent was good enough to overcome his lack of coaching. I also felt he was kind of a slimeball...and I guess that's what reminds me of Eddie Sutton.

I like Pope, and hope he has success at Kentucky.

Pope had 30 days to put together this team. We are not athletic. I will make judgement of this team on how we do in March.

Agree 100%. Cal doesn't coach, he tries to out talent the competition.

Pope has a coaching philosophy that will become more clear over the next couple of years. I'm good with what we are getting out of this team, I mean 6 top 20 wins with this roster. I'll take it.

Judging this team at all isn't fair to anyone. However, if we have a healthy Butler and Krissa back, I think this team is a top 15 team. Without them, we are very, very average.

Funny you said destroyed the culture. This coming from a University who until recently was flying the Confederate flag on campus. It took the National Guard and several lawsuits for you all to take it down.
Destroyed the culture? What a joke

First time in years I actually enjoy watching UK basketball.

We've had some bad games but, win or lose, I don't feel like we are doomed to lose every single game like I have the past few years.

Definetly a nice change.

Yep, very refreshing, recent struggles aside. The future is certainly bright.

It will take just this season. We currently have the #3 class for next year. Pope had one month to assemble this roster. Most of the best pieces in the portal were already taken. We're playing with an injured Carr and no Butler or Krissa. Some of you just have no fricking clue what's going on here.

Will it take longer than you getting up to this milestone of 1,013 threads?

The forum sicko and stalker shows up after a night of combing the local streets looking for disturbing things to do to innocent people.

How many posters do you have a running data base of their every post sorted into categories?

I hope the police catch you one day.
