What do you mean I think? I know. That’s the rules. It’s over and done. Yall won the game. But according to the rules, the ball would have been placed at the 2 yard line if the penalty occurs in the end zone. Which it did.

The penalty is still a max of 15 yards.
In order for the 2 yard line rule to come into affect, the snap has to occur on the 17 or less.
Half the distance doesn't start until the snap is on the 2 yard line or closer.
So if the ball is snapped from the 3-17 yard line, and there is PI, the ball goes to the 2 yard line - or a spot foul if not in the endzone. If it happens from the 2 or less, then it's half the distance.
