Apparently because the poll that matters is at the end of the season.

If Kentucky and Kstate beat us, are they ranked now? Probably.

Would you say Brock bowers has the ability to impact the game significantly?

I can agree to disagree.

More data points equals better data points.

Willfully ignoring better data to make a shitty argument on a message board bothers me.
It should bother anyone who appreciates the truth.

Do you honestly care where Bama is ranked in week 3?
Because to support his point, week 3 rankings are seriously important.

For me, idgas about rankings until the final one. Humility is always a week away (until that final one)

He impacts the offense.
Absolutely.
Less so special teams and less so defense.

But depth matters, too.
It can matter equally to Brock Bowers in certain games.

Integrity jumped the shark a long time ago. AP is out there handing out rankings to schools that we schedule for cupcake games and pretending they aren't our collective cupcakes.

So in theory, Brock Bowers changes the score of the Missouri/Georgia game?

Agree - head to head comparison vs UGA.

What about the head to head comparison vs LSU?

Ole Miss is the better team. If Mizzou played Bama they have 3 Ls.

But they lost to uga by only 7!!!

Using this logic, Georgia tech would be the 3rd best team in the SEC

The Bama loss wasn't competitive? Ole Miss led at half and was down 17-10 going into the 4th quarter.

Is it Bama’s performances against Auburn and Arkansas which makes you so confident of this?

This is the biggest little brother argument. Does duke get to claim a top 10 win this season for beating Clemson?

Yesssss that’s how it works.

He may not change Missouri's point total.

He could change the UGA total. Or he could not.
Oscar Delp is the 9th best TE statistically in the conference. We are consistently recruiting top 3 TEs in recruiting classes.

If your a Georgia or bamma fan I see your point.

If you're a Missouri fan technically he's correct because it's a fact that those teams were ranked whenMizzou beat them. Nothing will change that fact. Important not to us because we expect more.

If preseason or early season ranking actually mattered, Mark Richt would have statues all over the state of Georgia, but they don’t so he doesn’t
