Both of those teams will see LSU's defense

Florida currently does not fall into the 2 best programs in the country category. Sorry bro
So who has a better football program than Florida?

You mean Bama-Florida is bigger because of the reputation of the teams
No, because Alabama is the # 1 ranked team in the nation.

I said that in response to a poster that called Bama and Florida the top 2 programs in the country. No one with two eyes would say Florida has played like a top 2 team THIS YEAR. That's where the reputation part came in. I'm aware that Bama is ranked number 1

Bama and Ohio State for sure. You could also make an argument for Boise State and Oregon.

I don't think Stanford-UO is a bigger game, but it will be a better game. Tide rolls.

No
Bama and Florida won the last two national championships
Oregon is a very good program. Stanford is a great team so far this year (and looks like they are headed nowhere but further up under Harbaugh)
I do think Stanford/Oregon will be under-rated by most in SEC country but Bama/Florida is still clearly the game of larger national interest

some very interesting opinions in here.....surprised whoever said Oregon would beat Bama and Stanford would beat Florida hasn't gotten blasted yet.
Imo the Bama/UF game is bigger on the national stage but the Oregon/Stanford game has bigger implications for the rest of the season just because there is no championship game (yet). Bama could very well meet UF again, however I think LSU could have something to say about that. Also, whoever said this is the game and they pretty much have the conference wrapped up with a win doesn't know what they are talking about. Both teams have other good teams to play still.

it's a defensible opinion
I think most would favor bama over oregon but the quality of both Florida and Stanford are yet to be determined IMO... both could be top five teams tho

At this point I agree Bama would take Oregon. Not sure about Florida/Stanford but what do you think if you flip the teams? Stanford matches up with Bama better and so does Oregon/Florida.

interesting question
I'd guess Bama would still be able to run the ball and Stanford would have some success in the air - would be an excellent hard hitting game I bet
It's wait and see on Florida - they could be the top tier team no one has caught onto yet... they have the ability to play ugly and win comfortably

maybe historically but not currently imo......UF's two crystal balls this decade says so imo. One of those is a thumping over OSU.

How can that be when Florida has was two NC's in the last few years, one of them over OSU. Florida is 30-2 over the last 3 years.

The two best programs in college football right now are Alabama and Florida. Program referring to success over the course of a few years not just 1 single year. Could oregon and ohio state beat florida this year? Maybe but what about the past few years and even the next few years. Hopefully LSU can win big this year and get back to elite status next year
