This line of thinking and especially talking is SO pathetic and such horseshite. Here is reality gump. You want to own the above comment, you need to own this one and not be a fricking hypocrit.

In the early 90's, AU was on probation and the program was in total turmoil. So, the only reason Bama had an undefeated season (same as AU) was AU probation. And Stallings would have been a pathetic failure as he was his entire life as a head coach if not for AU being on probation.

Own that one if you are going to make excuses for sucking and take credit for AU's success gump.

Oh yeah, last time neither team was on probation and full strength for an entire decade (80's), AU got busy KICKING that gump arse in route to 4 SEC championships (to Bama's 1) and multiple top ten finishes.

And in case you didn't know, AU was on probation in the 70's so following your logic, Bear sucked?

Damn you are dumb.

End of thread, Auburn wins again.

Um..NO. Auburn was put on probation in August of 1993, eight months AFTER Alabama won the '92 National Championship.

FAIL

But the program was in turmoil, our head coach about to leave....if it's a good enough excuse for y'all it's good enough for us.

Just change the parameters of your argument to suit and support the desired outcome. You must be a Bush voter.

we have two confirmed there now. One is destructive to the other team (Cody) and the other is destructive to his own team (Wilson)...

What is Saban's record against Tuberville?

Something tells me that Tubby's not gonna stick around to see Saban even it up.

Pussy.

Alabama's probation made Tubbs into what he is.

the probation was just a symptom of the clusterfrick of a program Alabama had become. It caught lightening in a bottle with the fact that Saban was miserable in Miami (and sucked as a pro coach), otherwise you would have some other lame frick as a coach right now...enjoy the ride, just don't read too much into it.

On a serious note...if LSU looses, it's because we've been on Double Secret Probation.

I actually have to thank those at Alabama Polytechnical Institute for their arse-whipping they put on UT as well (god almost as bad a game as the MSU/AU game this year)

Guys how else do I explain this. Isn't odd that all of the teams with streaks against us LSU, Au, UT were all during our probationary period. It's no coincidence. All I am trying to state here is DAMN IT FEELS GOOD TO BE A BAMMER RIGHT NOW

Nobody really gives a shite about you gumptards and you really are irrelevant to the problems Tubs is having. AU has not even played Bama and the outcome of the Bama game isn't gonna make one bit of difference as to whether Tubs is back next year. If Bama was currently 0-8 with Shula, the same things would be going on at AU this year and the same issues would be being faced regarding decisions going forward.

Fail.

Tuberville was getting owned by Saban on the recruiting trail so he switched to that gimmick offense. He has said many times that the spread helps with recruiting and that was why he switched to it. The change blew up in his face and Auburn's season quickly went into the toilet.
