Hold it folks........

I've just communicated with representatives of the Montana family. They have decided that Tyler Wilson will become the FIRST Joe Montana.

Joe figures that at this point it's better for him to be "the next Joe Montana" and Tyler will become "the first Joe Montana."

Dear Mr Alude,

Didn't read any of this hot mess of garbage....but has anybody noted whether Joe Montana was out gunned by Jordan Jefferson?

Sincerely,

Le' Crow

If he stays healthy, I can see Tyler Wilson being very successful.

Remembering Terry Bradshaw at Louisiana Tech, who would have thought at the time that he would have as much success as he had in the pros? I knew he was really good, but never thought he would have as much success as he had. He just kept improving. Same with Montana.

You never know for certain, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Wilson has that kind of success.

ETA: Shreveport Woodlawn produced some serious talent back in those days.

Now officially out of the Passing Acadamy bid-ness. That event is now property of Tyler Wilson Greatness, LLC.

Either way Tyler is a Top 5 pick to be with another good season.

2013 Mocks have him as high as #1 overall.

CNNSI #1 Overall Pick

CBS #5 Pick

Fox Sports #4 Pick

Cmon man that had bray going in front of barkley as well...

The other 2 are prolly more on target he will go top 5 - 10 just not in front of barkley.

I really don't see the harm in that prediction, a lot of pro scouts are not sold on Barkley at the next level.

Depends on the teams, but if the Raiders or Chiefs are Top 5 they're taking Wilson assusming #1 or #2 is Barkley.

I don't think so, I discussed Dmac a little with someone, but never Felix.

the college stats are very very similar

Joe Montana
Completes Attempts % TGs RAT
1977 99 189 52.4 11 134.4
1978 141 260 54.2 10 124.9

Tyler Wilson
2010 34 51 66.7 4 155.4
2011* 277 438 63.2 24 148.4

The funniest thing about this thread...they're not even similar...unless, all QBs are "basically" similar in stats.

Pretty sick combo, but I'd always be scared shitless with Dmac in Fantasy with those injury problems.

But, the Raiders have never had even a decent QB, so maybe Palmer will help out Dmac unlike Campbell and JaMarcus.
