I listened to that entire interview and when it came to Freeze, the guy was a good politician and essentially said the right things, but he didn't sell it.
You can tell he doesn't really respect his headcoach, and he obviously knows he doesn't have to, there's no one else behind him. He's the guy and he knows it.

According to Greg McElroy on the Mac and cube show, auburn ran that exact same play when facing a blitz last week out of the exact same formation and threw to the exact same position receiver. I haven’t watched the film to confirm but if true, it’s on freeze 100%

I agree with pretty much everything you say. The fact they didn’t call a run there is one of the more infuriating things I can remember. And that has to ultimately be on Freeze.

He is a mercenary. He doesn't want or need Freeze's validation. I remember senior Jarret Stidham just a smiling on the sidelines in the 4th quarter of a blowout loss against shitty Tennessee.

They’ve also warned that he has a massive ego, is stubborn has hell, thinks he’s the smartest guy in the offensive room, he shuts down creative thought from others, and it’s in his nature to blame others for his deficiencies.
