If that is the best you can do you failed....
You and a few others devoted hours upon hours on ATPB and that was a HUGE failure... Aub77, Bucks, etc. kept telling you guys that your thread was a BIG fail... It was all built around ONE WORD -- IF... Even the Megathread is gone now... In fact the ONLY thing that I know of that come of that thread was that Ttowns menswear was exposed because you and a few others were worried about Cams Heisman suit.. A quick google of Ingram's Heisman's suit, then a post to SBB and Clay Travis, etc..

How do you get away with something that your are "permitted" to do? Is that like getting away with driving 70 mph on the interstate because signs like this allow it?

Without Julio in 2009, Bama loses to Auburn
Dude. Really? Like we couldn't have possibly found another receiver to catch crossing patterns and pick up 8-11 yards at a time? He didn't go full beastmode on anyone in that game. Your D just didnt' cover him.
I'm not getting into the whole "Cam's Pop took whatever" stuff. I'll say this though, in 2010 AU had 6 games decided by 7 points or less - 5 of which decided by 3 points or less. One player may very well make a difference in games that close. The year you are referring to for Bama there was only 3 games decided by single digits. Big difference, bro.

It's pretty stupid to compare Julio/Ingram/Trent to Cam. They were certainly good players, but the latter was one of the greatest players of all time.

We shut Ingram down (made him cry and quit)and without the SECCC, he does not win the heisman..... Julio is inconsistent but in that game played a MUCH larger role than Ingram...
--------------------
The SEC's leading rusher was held to 30 yards on 16 carries and was on the bench for most of the game-winning drive. Saban said he believed Ingram had a bruised hip.
"Something like that," Ingram said. "I'll be all right."
McElroy and Julio Jones took over without him, aided by five runs and a 17-yard catch by freshman Trent Richardson on the 15-play, 79-yard drive that consumed more than seven minutes.
McElroy, who has been criticized at times as a weak link in an offense with a powerful running game, completed his final seven passes for 62 yards. Jones made four catches on the winning drive, three for first downs.

Just gonna throw it out in passing though.
i like your style.
I'm not going to say saban is a hug a-hole, but his coaching probably won you a game or two.
Am i doing it right?

quote:His claim, though, is that Julio didn't do anything "Julio-esque" during that drive, he was just the go to guy. So, if Alabama was simply taking advantage of our defenses inability to cover a slant route, then it is possible that another receiver could have played in Julio's stead and the drive would have still been successful. But we really have no way of knowing this.

I hate AU with a passion, but IIRC, it was MSU folks that were doing the biddin on Cam right?
So, in reality MSU got away with it. They didn't even get their hands slapped for having 2-3 former MSU players involved in a potential PFP scheme. Makes no sense.
ding ding ding

These are really stupid arguments anyway. Does Auburn beat Bama in 2010 without the play of Antoine Carter punching the ball, or Fairley causing AJ to fumble in the red zone? How about TZach pulling that catch in with an injured Barron on top of him?
Does Auburn come back in many of those games without the veteran line? Cam Newton was one of the best players to be on a field in a long time. No doubt he was the cog to the success of the 2010 season, but it was more then just him making it a championship season. I will give everyone he was the catalyst and his leadership was crucial, but he only played one position.

It was Gmac.

Nope. A once in a generation player behind a line full of 39 year old 17 year players...

So to recap - the drive was 79 yards. Trent had a 17 yard catch, leaving 62 possible yards. Trent had 22 yards rushing on the drive, leaving 40 possible yards.
On that drive that Julio "took over" he had 4 catches for a total of 33 yards. Not exactly a Herculian feat, but it was sufficient.
If you recall, all of Julio's catches were short, crossing pattern type routes (hell, he averaged barely over 8 yards per catch on that drive and his LONGEST catch on that drive was for 11 yards). It was more a result of your D just not covering the underneath stuff and our O taking advantage. That was my point. It could have just as easily been Maze or someone else catching dragging routes for 8 yards/catch.

so can we all agree that julio sucked and anyone could do that shite?
