It's the cheap floor they bought from Home Depot.

Hogs had multiple players cramping up while the rest of the teams (all from the Carolinas) had no issues. And no, it wasn't conditioning, that's the first game I recall it happening to multiple players.
Over consumption of vinegar based Eastern North Carolina BBQ by hog players led to playing the game in a pre-dehydrated state.

You might be on to something. The first time I tasted that BBQ, I immediately thought it had gone bad. It must be an acquired taste.

The good stuff is pretty damned good. You just have to be careful because the bad stuff is pretty damned bad. Making a good vinegar-based barbecue sauce is an art form because it's so finicky and unfortunately North Carolina has a significant carpetbagger population that can keep a bad barbecue place in business because they just don't know any better. Stupid Yankees.

It's all about that mustard based.

Funny thing is Asheville and Boone have much better BBQ places than anywhere else in Carolina
Just a little ketchup makes the world of difference

Fayetteville is 1400. Campus might be 1500.
You can still tell a difference though. I ran a race in Little Rock and performed quite a bit better than usual.

Never cared for it nor the Southern Carolinas mustard base either. I prefer Memphis and as is mentioned believe Western NC BBQ is superior to Eastern NC.

If you mean vinegar + ketchup/tomato paste, that's Lexington, NC style. Not a mountain thing. It's also an abomination before the Lord.
The NC mountains have places all over the map as far as BBQ styles go, no single tradition they stick to.

Western Carolina BBQ is usually what you would find from Hickory to Asheville
