Texas has more sacks than Oregon and TN on the season, but OSU has more than UGA, so you can't just be going based on sacks.

I'm not just going based on sacks. I'm going off talent and draft potential as well. Defensively, no teams has recruited defense (more specifically defensive front) better than Georgia has in the Kirby Smart era. The entire front 7 will get drafted.

Jack Sawyer is a stud, but he's been inconsistent all year. So far in the playoffs he's been great, but a lot of that comes for tOSU getting big leads that forced Tenn and Oregon to sit back and pass, thus he's been able to pin his ears back and rush.

Tuimoloau IMO is better than Sawyer. He's much more consistent, but like Sawyer he has benefited from being able to pin his ears back in these last 2 games.

So while tOSU has some dudes on the edge, I don't view them on the same level as Georgia, but they probably are close.

I would say it's actually the opposite of this.

Perhaps you are right or perhaps it is a combination of the two minds figuring out something that will work.. either way, it looks different and the results have been great so far.. We have our work cut out to hold y'all under 30 points..

Texas has been kind of an inconsistent mess this season. I still don't think we have come close to playing our best game. Texas could win or lose by 2 TDs.

Needed a miracle to beat Vandy. Sad.

If Texas can’t run the ball it might be ugly

Will be ugly. There is no might be. If we have to rely on quinn's arm we are going to lose big.

Clemson receivers didn’t have much of an issue.. but the couldn’t run.. ASU ran a pretty balanced offense without a real threat at receiver. Ohio State will have the best receivers Texas has seen while also one of the best backfields. If OSU runs a balanced attack it want be close without a Heisman like game from Ewers.

I'm just not a big fan of the Sark offense. So much negative play potential and they can just kill drives.

I would be down right shocked if Texas won by 2 TDs unless your defense is scoring them.

It took a career game from Klubnick for them to only lose by 2 touchdowns.

ASU moved the ball well, but couldn't score. It also took a historic performance from Skat (who should've won the Heisman) to make that a game.

Very true. They also have Will Howard as QB. Will Howard is 0-3 against Texas as the starter. PK is very accustomed to both Howard and Chip Kelly (0-3 against PK).

You could say that. I prefer the way I said it, because that was really all him and not the defense. The throws he was making were borderline impossible to defend.

People keep saying Howard is 0-3 against Texas. That is factually true

His stat line from his 2023 game @Texas

26/41 327 yards 4TDs 1 int. If he puts those numbers up on Friday Texas is losing by 2 TDs

Go back and re-watch that game.

A. Texas was ranked 116th out of 133 CFB teams in pass defense. They're now ranked 3rd.

B. Will Howard had less than 50 yards passing in the first half, and was down 17-7 against a backup QB. K State was forced to throw the ball against a terrible secondary that allowed them to get back into the game.

Howard should have had 2 int's but Sweat couldn't catch the ball.

Texas on Top is mighty confident. Or maybe it’s arrogance. Good luck to “your” team

This is the least confident I've been in a game all year.
