Is there any turning back now that the cat is finally out of the bag?

I think the NCAA need to sit down with Jimbo and he can either tell what he knows or they need to impose a show cause. He inferred that not only he, but everyone who has ever coached with Saban knows he is cheating. Then sit down with everyone of Saban's former assistants and either they talk or get a show cause.

They can start with Napier for all I care. Every last one of them. They should all be expunged from coaching in college football.

The NCAA has a perfect opportunity to clean house. It is really their last chance to stay in power. They are going to have to start looking for jobs pretty soon the way things are going.

As much as I'd like for these overpaid coaches to get bitch-slapped. There's no way the NCAA is going to do anything of the sort and kill the goose that laid the golden egg.

I'm not sure what the solution is, but this has the potential to be monumental (good or bad.. tbd) - depending on how far the parties involved want to take it.

There are only 10 investigators employed by the NCAA. That could take awhile

Kansas just won a national title in basketball. They are facing 5 Level 1 allegations in basketball, including lack of institutional control, and nothing is going to happen.

The NCAA as an enforcement agency is dead.

They’ll probably just turn their attention to smaller schools. Expect one of the Mississippi schools and maybe Auburn to get fricked by this while Nickel Saban and Jimbo get off scott free

I don't think that there is. College football will go down the path of the larger schools forming their own league with boosters paying out the arse for unproven 17 year-olds.

The pageantry of college football, the thing that made the sport great, regional, and special to kids growing up is a relic and will not be seen again. The universities have themselves to blame with how they "evolved" themselves to be diploma factories with overpriced woke faculty.

The passion, by and large, is reserved for one or two games a year at most for the overwhelming majority of schools. Universities have continued to price out fanatics to make way for corporate elites and TV contracts.

Of course a Gator is already trying to get rid of their football coach.
