Because I couldn't get into A&M out of High School so I went to Ole Miss, made good grades and transferred

Absolutely, and I think it does to some extent. The stereotypes seem much more real to people who aren't familiar with the state of Texas in general though. Most kids in high school nowadays who grow up in Texas have their own personal experiences to go off of instead of just stereotypes.

Wait, people attend college based off of stereotypes?

To answer your question, kids in Texas know what A&M has to offer. Seriously, think about it.... if A&M sucked so bad, would we be 52K in enrollment? Wouldn't Tech, UH, Baylor, etc. be much larger?
Usually once you sift through the stereotypes and use common sense, you figure out what is truth.
There's a widely held stereotype that the South is dominated by ignorant, poor undeducated people and with my experience in the Oil/Gas Industry, I must say that the most practical people reside in the South. The Intellectuals that come down here usually get chewed up and spit out.

Stereotypes are what a lot of people go off of though.
Couldn't agree more. Again, it's why I place a huge portion of the blame on those folks whom we pay to market our fine university.
I will tell you this: The silly (mostly out-of-state) stereotypes don't deter tens of thousands of young men and women from attending Texas A&M annually (we're one of the nation's top 10 largest universities). So ... no, silly "farmers" stuff doesn't "drive women away from A&M." Again, we've failed in that we've allowed UTex (and others) to shape a false public image about Texas A&M University. Hopefully the powers that be at TAMU will get their shite together (and re-think the embarrassing videos).

There are hot women at Ole Miss but your blowing it way out of proportion, y'all also got ugly's as well. Sorority girls are pretty much near the best at Ole Miss outside of Theta and AOII, ill give you that.

When i was invited to visit some buddies at A&M, I asked them what we were gonna do and they said, "if we get bored, we can drive around campus and look at the pretty girl."

Yeah Mississippi State suffered with the same stereotype for years. They finally got their first hot girl to enroll sometime in the mid '90s, and that's only because she thought she was applying to Ole Miss, but it was enough for them to turn the corner.

You just got to see it for yourself. It's the same for any school. Nothing is quite as good or as bad as people make things out to be when talking about stereotypes.
For example, common myths about A&M:
1) College Station is a tiny cow town. -- The MSA of B/CS is 238K.
2) You can't find anything to do. -- I love this one. You can tell who has never been to CS when people say this and are trying to dog A&M. If you can't find something to do between ~50 bars, several golf courses in the area or Lake Sommerville or Lake Bryan, then you must suck at life.

Honestly A&M doesn't seem like an environment that would attract a lot of hot women. It's a school that puts a lot of emphasis on agriculture and engineering, not something many females do. Plus the only have male cheerleaders *snicker*

Ole Miss has the reputation for its women, which in turn makes hot stuck up bitches who know they're hot want to take advantage of it. Also Ole Miss is easy to get in to and most of the hottest girls out there are hopelessly dumb. We basically have a formula for a sort of perpetual motion of hotness.
Ok, so ole miss is cooler and has more women because they are less intelligent. How freakin cool

Dude you're getting trolled out of your shoes. You think I'm serious about 9000 hot and 200 ugly? That's a fricking 45:1 ratio brah.

I'll take the bait.
Really, really glad we're getting more defensive about this stupid trolly shite and not letting it slide because "we have class". Yes there are hot women at A&M...even a few in the Computer Engineering program from which I graduated. If you took out the A&M logos and colors and just looked at the people...it looks like every other large state school.

I didn't say we were cooler, just listing the reasons for why things are the way they are.

Well, I'm not sure "the way things are" in stereotypes are quite correct.
Like I said, Ole Miss ratio wise is probably the best in the land save maybe a SMU or other tiny private schools in the South.
I still stand by my statement that volume wise, A&M and Texas crush just about anyone besides Arizona State. UGA and UF would be up there too.

Great girls (apart from the 3rd pic from the bottom, which is horse-like/questionable).
Screw the haters. Texas Aggie girls are top notch (as are the ladies from all other SEC schools).
