Is there a worse SEC state than Arkansas (aka West Memphis) ?

Even Missouri has decent cities like St. Louis and KC.
As much of a shithole as most of Alabama is, at least it has natural beauty and the Gulf Shores.
Louisiana is a dump but NOLA kinda makes up for it.
Maybe Mississippi can give Arky a run for its money.
Thoughts?

Arkansas is a great state, despite its pockets of poverty. Beautiful, good people.

I’ve lived in Louisiana and Alabama and they are pretty similar

The parts that are closest to Missouri are pretty nice, but the further you get away from the great midwestern beacon the worse it gets.

NW Arky is really not like SW Mizzou.
Lived in Joplin for several years.
To the OP ... as far as states/regions go ... Eastern TN is hard to beat.
The drive this past weekend from Columbia to Knoxville ... this time of year ... just a pleasure.

As a former truck driver I would say the most boring states to drive through were Mississippi, Arkansas, Illinois, and Indiana. I would include Missouri, but you all are saved by Lambert's Cafe in Sikeston.

Is there a better name than

Drove North to South through Mississippi a couple years back. Saw some trees. Was mainly impressed with the number of people who must collect old kitchen appliances and washing machines as porch and landscaping displays.

NW Arkansas is as nice as anywhere in the country. The problem is that you have to drive through the hell that is the rest of the state to get there.

Lambert's is where they throw the bread rolls, right?

Alabama, because they're about to elect a pedophile.
Most of NOLA is a dump.
