It’s reputation is a carry-over from the Old Box, but there’s really no comparison. When it opened (‘09) it was one of the top stadiums in the conference, but Baum and Dudy have undergone renovations since then and there’s been no major upgrades to the Box.
Amenities for the players are probably the best in the country but the stadium itself has fallen to the middle of the conference.

I’ve attended or coached at 13 SEC stadiums and it’s the worst aesthetically.
