I can remember watching a Raiders game once where the sideline reporter said that fans in what was known as the Black Hole in Oakland was throwing batteries at the opposing team on the sidelines lol. I think that was a Monday night game.
I have heard Finebaum talk about walking with someone from Alabama in Tiger Stadium years ago. He said they had miniature bottles thrown at them and someone threw a lit cigar at them.

This is in reference to football of course but I once attended a hockey game where students of the home team which was beating the crap out of the visitors threw a fish head onto the ice following a goal. They were admonished over the PA that the home team would get a a 5-minute penalty should anymore objects be thrown onto the ice. Appropriately enough the home team scored another goal after only 10 seconds of game clock ticked off and from the student section another fish head came flying over the glass to land on the ice. The officials hand immediately went up and a player had to sit in the penalty box for the 5 minutes. Didn't affect the outcome of what was a blowout game but it was quite entertaining.
