VC,
There are some Aggies on here who are young, dumb, and full of cum, but most of us are simply optimistic and know that we lost to the only defense we face.
Why are you so concerned about it? Could it be that LSU played crappy the past two games and will face A&M at Kyle?

Auburn looked pretty salty against LSU. 12-10? They held LSU to less 100 yards less than their season average.
Auburn has a good DLine and were very pumped and at home. However, this yardage was still 2-1 over auburn, despite all the LSU turnovers...which turnovers obviously hurt LSU's total yardage.

without a doubt he has a fantastic arm. You could really see the difference when he came into the game on the velocity of throws.
But he doesn't seem to be picking up this offense as fast as Joeckel. I felt like even though Joeckel was throwing to 3rd stringers and walk-ons, he was picking out the right pass. He just missed on that pass to Gaston which was a great read...he threw it before Gaston broke free.

I am concerned about the turnovers and penalties that LSU had the last two games, that is for sure.
The a&m game will follow two consecutive top 10 matchups for lsu, so if you were ever going to catch lsu perfect, you caught them at the right time of the season. That said, not at all worried about a&m. LSU is a double digit favorite over them, and quite frankly, if they can't beat a&m, then they may be in for a rough year themselves (which is entirely possible).
It's not the a&m posters like you that I'm talking about....I guess it's those young dumb ones that think they have actually accomplished something and making statements like setting SEC records and going 10-2...etc......
I'll say again, if a&m does not beat both ole miss and tech, they will not be bowl eligible. IF they do, then they will likely go 7-5.

A run of the mill AVERAGE football team with an unproven coach and questionable fans.

I like your confidence, but don't underestimate A&M at Kyle Field....even if we drop one to ole miss. I think regardless of what happens the next two games, October 20th will be one hell of a game and LSU will be happy to skate out of College Station with a narrow victory, much like the gators did. Aggies have a lot to improve on, that's fo sho!

Wondering about that comment, too??? Inbred hayseed obviously never been to a game in College Station.

How was it ranked before the A&M game, serious question?
Total offense gained by opponents:
Jacksonville State- 322 yards(227 passing), 24 points
La Monroe- 550 yards(412 passing), 34 points
Alabama- 438 yards(213 passing), 52 points
Rutgers-525 yards(397 passing), 35 points
Only time the opponent didn't score at least 7 TD's was against a 2-2 FC team.
I try to lay off the academic smack but they do teach you in Mississippi that a TD is 7 points right?
A&M still had far higher totals than any of those teams with 718 yards of offense and 58 points and Arkie had a healthy Wilson playing which allowed them to actually have an offense of their own.
BTW, A&M's last TD drive had our 3rd string QB throwing to walk on WR's and then handing the ball off to our 3rd string RB for the score. The better question is why even a BSC dude like JL Smith kept Tyler Wilson in that game late to try and come back from 48 down in the closing minutes and A&M able to just let the DE's use him as a tackling dummy. I guess I kind of answered my own question though.

I will ban bet you that the Vegas line opens for the A&M/LSU line as a single digit

nd to have the new guys come in and be better than you thought we were going to be is an affront to that famous SEC pride.
WHAT? AGAIN, what have you actually done yet? Seriously? Beat a horrible Arkansas team that everyone will beat this year?

But we've got a good team, a good new coach, a good new QB, and we want to win NOW. And we just might do it.
holy shite, you must be one of those young and dumb kids some of your more experienced posters were talking about. You have a good team based upon what? barely losing to florida at home? wow
The best you will do this year is 7-5, if you can beat both ole miss and la tech. You will likely finish 5th in the league, with an outside shot at 4th....primarily due to arkansas sucking so much this year, and ole miss being ole miss.

It is currently 11 points. I sure as hell won't ban bet for a line vegas sets. I will, however, ban bet you for the outcome of the game.
Btw...before you come back with that was before the townson game....LSU was favored over Florida in Vegas last week, by 2 points. The lines opened up yesterday as LSU by 2 1/2 points and has since gone to 3.
It was this same site that has LSU as 11 points as of last week over arkansas. Obviously Vegas did not let townson impact the line.

No.. we are a marginal team with some really bright possibilities.
We are close, but will need to improve in some key areas (kicking, tackling on the corners, rungame, depth overall).
However, I've been saying it on here all year, that we will likely surprise a few people, and have the talent to beat someone we shouldn't.
