This would matter to me if I actually cared about baseball and basketball. But since I don't, I only recognize how a team does/is doing in the great sport of college football. That being said, UT did pretty good in cfb last season to have a first year coach and mediocre to below average recruiting (compared to the elite teams) the last several seasons. There's no shame in getting thumped by us (UGA) but the loss to SC was an embarrassing bloodbath that basically put a great big ugly stain on their entire season. They rebounded and beat Clem's-sons in the bowl to save face. So overall... not a bad start for ol Joshua.

I cant speak on behalf of everyone but i know for sure when i think about a program that sets the standard for success its ole miss.

That's what Tennessee fans don't get. Being ranked top 10 at some point during the season doesn't matter if you still choke in the end. But they think it's the same as UF 06-08.

Yep. There's zero point in having a good program if you aren't the 1 school to win it all.
