To not see what is happening at UT is deliberate ignorance.

No one said UT wasn't improving. At least I certainly didn't. If you think that's what the conversation was about then you just weren't paying attention.

Yeah, and none of those current Vol students remember anything about UT's glory days.

Your coach can't remember USC Lite's glory years and he is 70 years old.

You're are forgetting that UT was still pretty consistently good up until 2008

We were in Atlanta in 2007 and these also-rans act like we haven't been good in 20 years.

They had their flash in the pan while we were down. It is done, over, finished!

You realize Mizzou and UK pulled off the same thing? What UT did was nothing special. I don't remember hearing about how Mauk got a standing ovation.. and that's when we were still ranked.

Dude, we were down like 3 TDs halfway through the 4th. And yes, it would be the same against any opponent.

That's what I used to think but throughout my time on this here rant Vol fans seemed pretty convinced that the program had been in decline under Fulmer for years before he was fired?

eta: That's not a troll. Vol fans had switched my opinion on the state of their program in that time period.

You were down 14. Mizzou was down 13 and UK 14.

Right now, it reminds me of one Raymond Goff. Top class nationally and mediocre results. If Butch wins I will retract but for now I am looking at Ark to rise from the silt.

It had been declining, but they were still pretty damn good

It went into decline, or Fulmer would still be the coach.

...BUT...we were in Atlanta in 2007. It isn't like we were down for decades.

Vols and Hogs are both on the incline. Looking forward to seeing the game in Knoxville this season.

Afraid Tenner's gonna beat you to it?

Btw, Arkansas has 1 fewer NC and the same number of conference championships as Tennessee. What don't we share?
