They're playing better but it's not showing in the win column yet.

Maybe for a handful of teams but there have been some decent wins by teams that wouldn't have gotten those last season (especially on the road).

Unfortunately I think conference play will be a blood bath because there's several teams right there in the middle of the pack. And it'll be perceived as "they're horrible". I do think some teams have done enough in the OOC to have a good chance at a tournament bid if they do well in conference. You couldn't really say that last season.

USC-Upstate is the SEC’s first loss to an A-Sun team this yr. The #RoadTo31 count rises to 15 conferences #SECbasketballFever

This twitter account is keeping track of all of the SEC's out of conference losses. There are 31 conferences and so far we've lost to nearly half of them with a couple of more weeks of OoC play left.

Every loss draws us one step closer to relegation

Really dumb stat that is virtually meaningless.

I actually think it's a good bit better. Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, and South Carolina are all better. Kentucky might be the best team we've seen in a long time. Ole Miss has a couple of nice OOC wins already. LSU is pretty good. State and Auburn are still awful but that doesn't mean the league is worse.

It's time for LSU, Alabama and Arkansas, Mizzou etc to step it up and become NCAA tourney teams like they were in the past. Enough NIT crap imo

Between us and Kentucky we'll strive to at least make the conference respectable
