Seeing a screen play or 2 would have been GREAT in the Sugarbowl game!

Do you have any idea how stupid this thread/question is? Just reading it probably killed a couple million brain cells.

Is he "losing" them - or - getting rid of them? If he gets Coach O, that will mark a big improvement. So, is he downgrading, or upgrading?

I find this very interesting. Good coaches surround themselves with good coordinators. It's part of their job. Hire coaches that do the best at their respective positions. Alabama losing their DL coach, OC, possibly their DC, and whoever the the hell else, kinda makes you wonder if next year will be the true test to see what kind of coach Saban is.

No, he sucks. Maybe if we had hired Rodriguez instead of Saban Bama would have been national champions three years after going 6-7

He's good, but he's had some head-scratching losses:
UAB 2000
Arkansas 2002
Florida 2003
Iowa 2004
Louisiana Monroe 2007
Utah 2010
Oklahoma 2013

And some embarrassing blowout losses:
Florida 2000
Florida 2001
Auburn 2002
bama 2002
Texas 2002
Georgia 2004

He's had "clock management issues" in games vs
UAB, Arkansas, Iowa, LSU, and Auburn.

He's also lost some very big games right after winning ones:
South Carolina 2009
Auburn 2010
LSU 2010
LSU 2011
Texas A&M 2012
Auburn and Oklahoma 2013

Saban lost to A&M in '12 and Auburn in '13, both teams Les Miles handled rather easily.
He also gave up SIX TOUCHDOWNS to A&M in '13, while LSU gave up ONE.

Saban is 5-2 in bowl games
Miles is 4-3.

Miles is 2 missed FGs away from possible national titles in '11 (Okie State vs Iowa State) and '12 (Alleman miss vs Alabama.)

So yeah, he's a good coach, but not what the media portrays him as.
