First step is too is Jimbo gives up full control. If he does, that’s step one. If Bobby fails in the next 10 years, it’s still cheaper to fire Bobby and buy another OC then. But that’s worst case scenario.

The troll right now is that every worst case scenario will happen and you guys can keep fantasizing those. I promise to keep reading them lol it cracks me up but I’m optimistic

Note: I’m optimistic bc Arkansas guys, who would know, told us it’s not a bad hire. Go figure lsu/horn fans are wishing the worst. We don’t take their banter to heart.

Bobby P would do jockstrap laundry duties to be the HC of an SEC team again.

Aggy could basically pay him Jimbo's dryer lint and he'd still coach the team at this point. He's 60+ now. This is it for that demonic SOB.

Petrino to College Station is like....

Picasso teaching fingerpainting.

Bruce Lee instructing yellow belts.

Evil Knieval showing toddlers how to ride a tricycle

I can't believe he did it. Maybe he wants to get fired?

Yeah I know. We have to take our licks just like Auburn did with Freeze. I’m optimistic bc a few Hawg fans say if the star align for Bobby at A&M, he can be good.

When Durkin was hired, there was an article written about how part of the decision to get him was that he was an unattractive dude to get poached. With his track record, we hope he can field a Top 4 SEC unit within 3 years (one down) with the talent he has. If he fields a good defense next year, say Top 3 in the SEC, who’s going to poach him? No one probably.

We are probably giving Bobby full control and a 3 year contract, maybe around $1.5 a year. Even if he has a Top 25 offense nationally, who would poach him? That’s the strategy. We shall see if it pays off.

He will basically be the HC because Bobby ain't taking orders from nobody and he made it clear that he would go to UNLV if he didn't have full control of the offense.

He will cuck Jimbo in front of the players every day at practice and the kids will know he is the alpha male.

This hire basically turns Jimbo into a $10mil a year recruiting coordinator and head cheerleader on games days.

Hiring a bunch of people that nobody else would touch is an interesting strategy.

Follows the failed strategy of money-whipping coaches.

If this doesn't work, the A&M Athletic Department is gonna hire McKinsey for their next strategy
