Lol! Umm, no. Two of the blandest uniforms you could ever imagine.

Question though. Does LSU wear white at home all the time?

Yeah, yeah. I know y'all love your stale, old looks. I just don't get the fascination with them.

Anyway, do you always wear white?

Why powder blue? Is that one of Ole Miss's unofficial colors?

Well the story is Vaught ordered the regular navy helmets one year(late 60's) and they came in robin's egg blue. Vaught said frick it, and we ended up wearing them until 1994.

Not a fan of the powder blue...the dark blue ones look sharper IMO

LSU wears white at home for all conference games, and also for regular season home-openers and high-profile OOC games.

Basically, if it's an SEC game, or an OOC game on a big network, we're wearing white.

We only wear purple twice a year. Against the two shittiest teams on our schedule, at home, that aren't the openers. So you New Mexico state and ULM got it this year.

While the helmet is sweet, those powder blue helmets look awful with those red jerseys.

That said, this picture is beyond dope.

I wish they still wore the robin egg blue helmets with the red, at most home games. It is by far the best uniform combo is the SEC, when worn. The navy blue is so bland and conformist.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but Ole Miss's jerseys looked a lot better when the Ole Miss logo on the chest was outlined in Navy on red jerseys & red on navy jerseys. Now it is always just in white.

It's kind of gotten to be a tradition to wear red against LSU so I'd assume so

I actually really like when they wear red. Blue with blue is boring.

That LSU uniform would have been better with the regular purple throughout and gold pants. I liked the old gold.

Traditionally we do. I would be surprised if we don't. Our red jerseys with LSU's whites on the same field look together

They really do. The LSU Ole Miss rivalry is the most intense yet underrated in the country. My dad was at LSU '61-'64 and the picture he paints of what the game was like is just unbelievable. Type of things that would be the lead on SportsCenter were they to occur today. He said they played every year in Tiger Stadium while he was in school...not Jackson or Oxford...all at Tiger Stadium, but I don't remember why he said that was, but I'm sure it made the crowd even more intense. Particularly the Ole Miss fans.

It was because Tiger Stadium was already one of the biggest in the country at that time. VHS only held 25,000, so playing it in Oxford kind of affected the intensity of the game.
