Hey man, we just came of a 2-10 season and have started solid. I'm excited, give me a break.

Depends on how you win, IMO... A decisive victory over Texas could easily catapult you into the top 25. No doubt about it. Got to play and win the game first though.

Seeing the matchups, it is an excellent chance that State gets in this week...

Unless we just absolutely obliterate them, like 50-0, then we have no chance at making it. Even with a win like that I don't think we're in.

Not a lock, but quite probable.

If we go 5-0 yes, that would include beating bama, but besides that no.

Someone probably just voted for ole miss, confusing them for MSU. Wouldn't be shocking.

If they beat Texas, they could easily be ranked.

Just look at #24 Arizona, who barely survived Toledo in OT at home in week 1, then thumped #18 OK St in week 2, and that was enough to move them into the top 25. OM's run would be at least that impressive if not moreso...

If they beat Texas this weekend, they deserve to be ranked.

If we beat Texas then there is no reason that we shouldnt be.

Say what you want but the polls are for THIS year not the two years past and if (again IF) we beat Texas we should be.

That would be starting 3-0 beating a ranked team and beating a UTEP team that put up a decent fight with OU.

Not to mention we lead the SEC in many Offensive categories so we are looking good doing it.

The loser of the UT/UF game will likely drop out.
