Is their rivalry an intense in state rivalry? Sure. Why not.

A very underrated rivalry IMO is the Clemson-USC rivalry. Their fans HATE each other, almost to Bama-AU level.

It's very telling that other programs must look to a program's past when intimidated by its future.

If ole miss ever played state, winner to sec championship game, there would be over 50 deaths at the tailgate alone. The stadium would be a war zone.

This. You will see the rage that the Egg Bowl can truly cause if this is ever a thing. There will be riots.
