Officially, Mizzou averaged 51,465 in 2018.

To be fair, 24,000 at Missouri are louder than 102,000 at DKKKR in Austin.

I have been to two Texas games over the years. Not sure your statement is true, but Texas fans are some of the quietest I have ever been around. It is eerily quiet in that stadium.

It's the Tsip in them. I have been to many watch parties on UT aggie weekend in Austin and they were really not even interested in the game. I would get loud over a play and they totally couldn't be bothered.

They'll talk football for 365 days a year though.

Declare the stadium a SJW Safe Place and it will be sold out.

If Semo were still alive this thread never would have been allowed to see the light of day.

Athletic department officials, however, say the numbers they reported to the NCAA aren’t a full picture of the actual ticketed attendance in the 2018 season because faulty scanners, which were sensitive to the elements, and poor Wi-Fi connectivity forced event staffers to move large swaths of fans through the gates without recording their tickets into the system. No estimate was available for how many unscanned tickets were allowed into the stadium.

To stay in the NCAA’s top division, schools are required to maintain attendance of above 15,000 per game — ticketed or announced — over a rolling two-year period.

I don't think the NCAA enforces this rule. If they did Eastern Michigan would be FCS by now.

I don't think Mizzou cares one bit about being in the SEC other than the raise in pay. I certainly know none of the other member schools cares that they are in the league. Its just such a weird arrangement.

Don’t you actually have to have a national title to shite talk another school for winning just one?

Who are you a fan of? I don’t recognize the logo. TIA.

Its a pity. Cognizance can be a challenge to those with limited intelligence.

The Mizzou logo has appeared in the SECCG twice since the mighty blue and yellow.

Jealous of what exactly? All that big "Texas" money and only one national championship since 1970?

Texas A&M is jealous of the independence and assertive manhood displayed by Colt's Shoulder during that game where Colt's Shoulder quit on his team because Colt's Shoulder's mommie and daddy said that Colt's Shoulder had to make it to the NFL.

They don't enforce the rule, but Eastern Michigan would have dodged the bullet anyway by having the largest % increase in attendance in Division 1 in 2016. Their two year rolling average for 2016-17 was 16,204.

However, looking at just the most obvious violators, there were at least 8 who did not maintain the average in 2016-17 and all 8 played in Division 1 in 2018. Hell, Ball State averaged 8,844 in those years.
