f is worse than Russell
The ripples of Leaf echoed throughout the Chargers organization, no doubt. It hurt them for years to come.
But he still played longer than Jamarcus

No one had that expectation of Russell. So to me the combination of draft slot and expectation puts Leaf higher.
JaMarcus is only ever in the conversation because of the contract he received. At that time, contracts for rookies were escalating year over year, and any other QB drafted in that spot would have received a similar deal. Stafford got $41.7 mil guaranteed just two years later, Bradford got $50 mil guaranteed the year after that.
I've always had Sam Bradford as a bigger bust. Certainly made the most money of any quarterback with the least to show for it.

If by bust you mean bra size, JaFatass is definitely the biggest bust in NFL history

4 seasons (lost 1 due to injury) vs 3. Russell actually played more games - 31 games played/25 starts vs. 25 games played/21 starts.

They may generate some drama sometimes, but they still have a lot of accomplishments and get stats
